About Tanner Cambell:
He's a consultant for mid-sized to large businesses on their audio-related media. He also advises for a startup called Ghostcast, and prior to now he has owned recording studios, and worked professionally in podcasting from 2015-2021. Tanner has created a few Top 100 podcasts in the Literature and Philosophy categories (2014 and 2017).
Jeff and Tanner discuss various things; how/why Tanner started podcasting and how he came up with the name "Podcasting Sucks! and his approach to content creation.
They also discuss; authenticity with advertising/sponsors on your podcast, some of the negativity Tanner has faced, elitism in the podcasting community, RSS feeds/podcast discoverability, stigmatism of word-of-mouth marketing, issues with the industry and podcasting.
